Masterclass adding value from waste streams

The agricultural and horticultural sector brings hundreds of thousands of tonnes of waste material each year continues. This residual material is now mostly used in animal feed or used for composting and soil fertilization. Great opportunities lie ahead for the reuse of these vegetables to a newly fledged vegetable product. In large cities such as Amsterdam , products of fermented and pickled vegetables becoming trendier and more demand for. The agricultural and horticultural sector in England with its residues can provide residual vegetables that are suitable for such products. Food Cabinet has therefore carried out a study into the opportunities of new vegetable products made from waste streams.
